Privacy Policy for Boss Bread LLC

Effective Date: [January 2026]
Website: https://www.bossbread.com

Who We Are

We are Boss Bread LLC, makers of real, no-bullshit bread. Our website address is: https://www.bossbread.com.

This policy explains how we handle your information, because even rebels need transparency. If you have questions, contact us through the Contact the Rebellion page.

Comments

When you leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the form, along with your IP address and browser info. This helps us detect spam, because fake comments are as bad as fake food.

We may use an anonymized version of your email (a hash) with the Gravatar service to show your profile image next to your comment. Gravatar’s privacy policy is here.

Media

If you upload images, don’t include GPS location data (EXIF). Visitors can download and extract that data, and we’re not responsible for what others do with it.

Cookies

We use cookies to make your experience smoother, not to track your every move like corporate ad machines.

  • Leaving a comment? You can save your name, email, and site in cookies for next time. These last 1 year.

  • Logging in? We’ll set temporary cookies to check your browser and manage your login.

    • Login cookies = 2 days

    • “Remember Me” = 2 weeks

    • Screen options = 1 year

    • Edit a post? That cookie lasts 1 day and just stores post ID.

We don’t sell your data. We just want the site to work.

Embedded Content From Other Sites

Articles may include embedded content (like videos or social posts). That content behaves exactly like it would on its original site, meaning those sites may collect your data, use cookies, and track your interaction. We don’t control them, but we also don’t embed anything shady.

Who We Share Your Data With

We don’t sell your data. Period.
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email, that’s standard.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Comments and metadata are kept indefinitely so we can recognize and auto-approve follow-ups.

If you register on our site, we store the personal info in your profile. You can view, edit, or delete it at any time (except your username). Admins can see and edit your info too.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you’ve left comments or created an account, you can:

  • Request an exported file of your data

  • Ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you

This doesn’t include anything we’re required to keep for legal, administrative, or security reasons.

Where Your Data Goes

Comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service (think digital bouncer at the door). That’s it.

Questions or Concerns?

This site is built for rebels, not data harvesters. If something feels off or unclear, contact us directly, we’ll set it straight.
