We didn’t start a bakery.

Every time we ate a slice of grocery store bread — the kind labeled “whole grain,” “heart healthy,” or “artisan fresh”, we felt like shit. Sluggish. Bloated. Mentally fogged. Our guts twisted, our energy crashed, and our bodies whispered what the labels wouldn’t say out loud:

This is not food.

We flipped over the package and counted over 30 ingredients, most of them unpronounceable. Seed oils. Fillers. Conditioners. Preservatives. Thickeners. Additives that were never meant to touch a human body. The kind of chemicals that don’t belong in a kitchen, they belong in a lab.
